Design Your Own Hoodie

At one time, a hoodie (hoody, hooded sweatshirt zip or pullover hooded fleece jacket) was just a hoodie. They were long sleeved, unisex and colors were limited to heather gray, black, navy, or white.

Today, there are short sleeve, cap sleeve and sleeveless hoodies. Men’s hoodies are now available in what were once considered women’s colors, and women’s hoodies are no longer smaller versions of men’s, with silhouettes made specifically for a woman’s figure.

Although the most popular fabric for a hoody or sweatshirt is cotton fleece, many brands offer them in knitted silk, merino wool, high-performance or other fabrics in a wide variety of weights.

Tackle Twill - A form of appliqué in which letters, numbers or designs are cut from a piece of fabric and sewn onto a garment. The most popular placement  of tackle twill on a hoody or a sweatshirt is on the front or back.
 

As corporate gifts or promotional products, custom hoodies or sweatshirts have always been a great way to build brand recognition and to promote your business. However, to some people (since it is a give away), this means buying the cheapest hoody or sweatshirt they can find. These cheap hoodies usually end up being worn while doing chores around the house.

It is worth it to spend a few more dollars and give somebody a custom hoody they will actually wear.
